Located on the northeast tip of the island, this community is home to Martha's Vineyard's largest marina as well as the country's oldest operating platform carousel, known as the Flying Horses Carousel. A resort community, Oak Bluffs boasts a unique accommodation experience in the downtown core. Visitors are welcomed to stay in Victorian-style cottages characterized by manicured grounds, white picket fences and brightly colored exteriors complete with front veranda. The downtown also offers visitors a wide selection of unique restaurants, shops and live entertainment options.
